Thanks Joe, Salah;

I recall seeing a post that said First Call had it at -.15 so that sounds right. I was going over Q2 this morning tring to read between the lines and the answer I come up with is I just plain don't know.

I saw a post that said NetWare sales were good in June but I didn't see any source for the information. I do tend to question the concept that a bad quarter is a permanant condition. I sort of got the impression that Q2 came in low because Schmidt refused to stuff 50 million into the channel at the end of the quarter. I also got the impression that the 100 million was acumulated over a period of several quarters, which makes me think that a normal quarter should be in the 325 range. There seems to be a lot of flexibility in "generally accepted accounting principals". I'm more used to the kind of math where if you do the same thing you get the same answer.

I guess I'm just getting impatient. I want the news now and I want it to be good. Maybe I should just turn off my computer for a few days (months?).

Regards,

Don
