u s a and france are working on rules for international team of troops in buffer zone in southern lebanon. u s a says terms need to be worked out before ceasefire and fight will continue until hezbollah stops fighting. france says it won't negotiate terms until there is a ceasefire. meanwhile, people are being killed. france, media, others blame u s a for stalling and delaying immediate ceasefire. that is pressure france puts on u s a. france, media and world don't feel pressure to stop killing of israelis and lebanese by meeting conditions for ceasefire or reaching agreement re terms for international force. so the killing goes on. it is clear to me that u s a and israel will blink. but, israel has been given time to fight with hezbollah and do damage to lebanese infrastructure - ans has lost many citizens including many soldiers.
