Kevin:

1. Will Koo ever decide to buy a company to help the company grow faster?
Why would an acquisition be better than holding cash? Having been in the acq. business previously, I know that acq.'s are as frequently negative as positive. Wiser to hold off on investment until the macro picture becomes a bit clearer, e.g. post devaluation, if any.

Can we trust him? Don't trust him! would be my advice, nor anyone else. Simply rely upon the rule of law and know that Koo will take advantage where he can. As you say, He does know how to make money. One thing is certain, he will always be the benefactor in the long run.

He practices the old Chinese proverb of patience.
Yes, and that's how he makes money, in addition to be single-minded and amoral. I should think one could ride along with him, knowing he will do some % better for himself than for the shareholders, yet still making money for them/us.
