It is definitely possible that Clinton decided oral sex was a lot less like infidelity, and caused fewer problems overall, than intercourse. Certainly, having an illegitimate child is a wake-up call (at least for people who experience shame).
Incidentally, everyone, there was a blurb about the Clintons in Parade magazine, the one that comes with Sunday papers in some cities, in the question and answer column inside the front cover. While usually the questions are about prominent actors, rock stars, and singers, today someone asked a question of what Hillary Clinton really feels about what is going on in her marriage.
I am not presenting this as fact, and I cannot quote it exactly because of copyright issues, but usually the answers given in this feature are solid and seem credible, certainly not sensational at least. So, for entertainment purposes only, the author states that Hillary is very hurt by the infidelities, and that privately there are violent arguments about them. She also feels very angry at Bill because he has humiliated and embarrassed not only her but Chelsea with his behavior. She becomes disturbed by the public perceptions of their marriage, because only she and her husband know what really goes on inside it, according to her friends. At the same time that she is very upset, she perceives the marriage as a political partnership, and will continue to support her husband publicly, even holding his hand, but then taking it away in private. |
