Over $60,000 in Welfare Spent Per Household in Poverty What that article doesn't point out is how much of the $60,000+ per poverty household is skimmed off by the federal government middleman - the amount used to pay bureaucrats' inflated salaries and benefits to run these programs. My guess is about only a third actually reaches those in poverty. Hmmmm, kind of like the way food for poor countries is distributed or NOT distributed. Quite a scam for the democrats who like feeding the fed employees whose unions keep them in office. It ain't about the impoverished, it's about politicians' and bureaucrats' jobs. CF Rebel
