That particular reason (excuse is a funny word to use), may explain a portion of it. Veteran Apple investors know to wait. Me, I have put a lot of my Apple profits since Jan 2009 into a nice portfolio of dividend stocks (Apple is one, but the overall portfolio yields 4.6%), and still have plenty of Apple LEAPS.
