Dan, is the problem the unions or management who do not have the skills to cope with the unions.


The problem is with the unions. Management has the option of replacing union workers with cheap labor or with automation.

Once the union workers are out on the street, they have no other option except to whine about the unfair practices of the greedy 1% and otherwise take on the victim role so that they can start being parasites off of the government entitlement programs.
