Dan, Neither company are in the business of manufacturing uPs... Cisco outsources their production of their equipment, simliar to the likes of their competition. Therefore, Cisco's primary job is designing, not manufacturing. On the other hand, while sun does design their own uPs, can I purchase a Sun uP at a store? Sun would be an analagous comparison if AMD also made boxes, but it isn't....
