I hope so Rod. I'd like to see Intel prevail (not just in marketshare but in profits...). Although I don't currently own it, it has been really good to me in the past. I agree that the microprocessor is not the only piece to look at in today's multimedia PC, but I maintain that the overall performance of Windows (this includes the apps that run in it: video and communication software included) will drive purchase decisions (along with cost).

I'll have to wait and see how the complete systems from Intel's competitors perform (price/performance being the important ratio) before I make my final judgement of whether to buy back into Intel or not (after the "correction," that is). I think this doubt and confusion in the microprocessor marketplace must be cleared up before Intel stock can stand on firm ground again.
