As good as it was couldn't help wishing I was seeing it on the big screen, not my 50"+ TV.
I've found that the cure for that desire is is turn off the lights, close the curtains, put up a red light with "Exit" written on it in such a position that it glares in my eyes and position my chair 2 feet away from the screen.

I also hang some Christmas white LED lights on a timer so that they go on and off at random times to simulate people looking at their cell phones, same with a closed loop sound of baby crying to simulate the parents who bring their too-young kids to the movie that doesn't catch their interest. Also put a cardboard cut out mask in front of the screen to simulate that tall guy with upright Mohawk hair who decides to sit right in front of me at every movie i go to. I Put a bar of butter on the stove in a pan (low heat, unless I feel like being in the sleazier theaters, then high works) to simulate the smells, oh and drip some sticky syrup mixed with lint on my chair to compete the realism of actually being in a theater.

I'm not sure how to simulate the guy in the seat behind who puts his feet (somehow set on vibrate) on my chair but I'm working in it.

Oh I almost forgot, recordings for the peoplea few seats down that have to describe everything that goes on and the occasional surround sound booming coming from the apocalyptic movie next door ...

Nevermind just go to the theater for all that :-)
