Murthas remarks, by a gentleman previously respected by most are IMHO unfathomable What is unfathomable to me is his call for the creation of a US rapid reaction force in the ME. I have to ask - to what end? If we can't finish the job, what's the use? So what that we can take down any military in the region that resists us if we can't stick around to change the circumstances that produced the challenge? It's such an exercise in futility that it boggles my mind. Derek
