I was thinking more about how easily it would fit into a pocket. I wear jeans a lot and even the iPhone 4S is a little larger (thicker) than I like, especially if it has a case on it.
The 5 is slimmer than the 4S, and the extra half inch in height means pretty much nothing as far as fitting into pockets goes. I wear jeans almost exclusively, and have no trouble at all getting it into and out of the pocket.
