In the end, most apps exist for a platform that reaches most people. I am "happy" with Cook if he doesn't care about just the premium segment. Apple has to have products that *everyone* wants to buy. That means low priced + high priced. However, this is different than the past. So, it needs to be explained and better financial guidance needs to be given. My complaint with Apple management is that it thinks the old ways of guiding are fine - they aren't. The world has changed - apple is changing in the right way, imho, to meet the world - but it is failing miserably wrt explaining it.
