It had to be internal, I think. The Russians, Castro, or the Mob might have had the capacity to do it without inside help, but they would not have had the capacity to cover it up so thoroughly.

I have long believed that LBJ had prior knowledge, and may well have been in it up to his neck.

The enhanced film footage makes it ridiculously obvious that the fatal shot came from the front. Whatever you think of Oliver Stone's hypothesis, he did the country a considerable service by putting that particular clip on screen for the world to see.
