USB's Kumar sees difficulty in upside for Intel (INTC)

Analyst Ashok Kumar at USB Piper Jaffray believes it will be "difficult" for the shares of Intel (INTC) to see significant near-term upside as deteriorating wireline capital expenditures will make it tough for the chipmaker to grow its networking business. Kumar notes, however, that Intel has benefited from the recent downturn in the communication equipment market, and thinks the company will eventually emerge as a "dominant player" in networking silicon. Nevertheless, the stock, a component of the Dow industrials ($INDU) , is sliding 67 cents, or 3.4 percent
