I would really be surprised if Parlux diluted shares further in 1997 beyond merely selling back its treasury stock. From my readings of the Lekaches I don't think they are the sort to settle for less than what's possible. And quite frankly given the per share increase of the past- $0.22 in March of 1994, $0.48 in March of 1995, $0.72 in March of 1996- I think that they have sufficient incentive to step things up for the sake of maintaining this trend. And if they can't manage this it would seem plausible for them to take steps to mitigate the extent of an eps deviation.

For a quarterly report you can call the company and request an investor's package from the operator and she'll send you one. I trade online and thus don't have much discussion with any particular broker.

Regarding debt increases, I've been studying up on whether it really is in our best interest or even possible. The company already has secured debt outstanding and I don't know to what extent the assets are already collateralized. If the company earns enough cash through operations over this present period to continue purchasing shares we should realize the benefits in the company's earnings per share.

Our stock didn't drop to $3.50 today but I'm still looking to buy when it does. In comparison to the other prestige fragrance and cosmetic companies Parlux has the others whipped hands down.
