Weekend at Bernie's... just sent this to the campaign.

Hi, Berniepeeple:

I live in California, and I’m tired of hearing former “Worst CEO” (google it) Fiorina say my drought is caused by liberals. Here’s some background info she overlooks.

Fiorina says, “You know what’s also made it worse? Politicians, liberal politicians who stood up for 40 years as the population of California doubled and saying, you cannot build a new reservoir and you cannot build a water conveyance system. And so, for 40 years 70% of the rainfall has washed out to sea. That's pretty dumb when you know you’re going to have droughts every single year, or every three years let’s say. –“

In ‘69, our liberal governor, Ronald Raygun, killed the last dam project. It would have been twice the size of Shasta, our largest reservoir.

In ‘82, Jerry Brown’s water project was killed by our proto-teabagger Prop 13 crowd.

After Jerry, (and before Jerry 2), we had a series of R governors, (interrupted by Grey Davis), and a legislature dominated by the tyranny of the R minority, a side-effect of Prop 13, and now ended by another proposition.

If anybody is to be blamed for the drought, besides the usual suspects like water ceasing to fall from the sky, it’s conservatives.

Go get them, Bernie.
