Where I get antsy (and I may have been pre-emptive here, and that is something I should not do)is that in my experience the sort of complete moral confidence revealed by a statement like "I know the meaning of life." is inseparable froma logic chain that ends up with "I know how you should live your life." That is one of my articles of faith, and I fear I have imposed it from you. I withdraw it and I apologize. After all, I should afford you the benefit of the doubt that maybe you do separate those two concepts.
