Con, Tony, OMG I would appreciate it if you please address your response to me to Paul? I have been trying to get it him to admit exactly that. Here's his reply to me. Why? I agree with him that copper was not necessary on 0.18, and the evidence is that a new design, P4, got to 2.0 GHz without it. I think everyone agrees that PIII topped out not for any lack of copper but for it's older design. AMD, OTOH, is busting its blls keeping up with* copper. And don't tell me the Quillispeed something or other is ahead of P4. That's a temporary leapfrog. OMG means Oh My God? Tony
