Earnings before income taxes for the fourth quarter were $1.6 million, up from $623,000 a year ago.
Vasomedical Inc. (VASO) attributed the increase in revenue in the fourth quarter and year to strong sales of its EECP enhanced external counterpulsation system used to deliver noninvasive therapy for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
The maker of external counterpulsation systems reported $4.9 million in cash, $16.2 million in working capital, and $1.1 million in long-term debt. |
