The public has barely begun to sell.

That is certainly my impression. People around here have not been selling their existing shares. They have shifted new contributions to MM or TDs, but their previous contributions to 401-k's are still there. If the bear market persists, we will start seeing redemptions and once that happens the stock can fall quite rapidly, to as low as 3-4K if there is a total pullout (even though one could argue that most stocks would be a fairly priced somewhere above 5K).
