"General Patent Corporation International was established by Dr. Alexander I. Poltorak in June 1996 as an outgrowth of its predecessor General Patent Corporation founded by A. Poltorak in 1989. It is engaged primarily in the business of identifying innovative technologies, acquiring interests in such technologies and developing such technologies into business ventures. The Acticon Technologies Division has recently been established to exploit five important patents in the data communications industry. It looks like they got the control of the patents in order to make money by lawsuits. It would be very interesting to see who if anyone is paying royalties on them. Btw. I did read that Bre-X story, it would make a good movie. Scrapps
