It's a free country. You can own one if you want. I just wanted to point out the fact that they are not really safer, and very unnecessary for the huge majority of owners.

It sounds like you at least use yours for the intended purposes- unlike most.

BTW- A van is much better for hauling stuff, and how much snow do you really get in VA anyway. I had a 4wd pickup for 2 or 3 yrs. here in So. Indiana, and I think it came in handy for snow about once, when we had a freak 16" snow, and no one should have been out driving on that day.

If you decide to sell it- wait for the 1st dusting of the winter, and put an ad in the paper. I sold mine the 1st day for the full asking price. <g>
