Clarke said he got a call from the White House chief of Staff or Secretary of States (I doubt the latter) ordering him to let the Saudis and Bin Laudens go on 9-11. Why do you leave that out of your long post? It's THE most important part of his testimony. This is inexcuseable no matter what the explanation. I have also read descriptions by officials at Logan airport watching this and FBi agents who said the departing saudis got away scott free without even being interrogated, despite the fact at least onje of them was under investigation for terrorist funding, a cousin of Bin Lauden's I believe. ALL of them knew somethiing. ANY of them could have given us valuable intel or been turned into a CIA source. None of them were even slowed down thanks to the White House. Corruption Inc.
