I don't remember seeing it posted tho. pcworld.com "The introduction of 56-kbps modems is great news for early adopters and gadget freaks, but many consumers are confused about which technology to buy. Analysts say a standard will not be seen until 1998, and there is no guarantee that 56-kbps modem purchased in the meantime will be upgradable to any future standard. "Consumers have a right to be confused," IDC's Mackall said." This is the kind of BS that's keeping USR's stock price down. According to this article, only a freak would buy a new modem anytime this year. This kind of mis-information could become very damaging to USR modem sales. What to do? I know, let's sue PC World! DK
