Intel Offers Toshiba Funds To Make Direct Rambus DRAMs interactive.wsj.com TOKYO (Nikkei)--Sources said Intel Corp. (INTC) of the U.S. has offered to provide Toshiba Corp. (J.TOS or 6502) with funds to increase production of Direct Rambus dynamic random-access memory chips, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun said in its Tuesday evening edition. Full-scale mass production of the new DRAM chip is being delayed because many major manufacturers have reduced capital investment.
