Once I was watching the movie "Hairspray", which is set around '65. There was a line dance, and on one side all these boys so careful with their hair and feeling so fine in their sports jackets, showing off for the girls. And I suddenly started crying, thinking about how a lot of these goofy kids would be drafted soon and sent to the rice paddies......
