I watched johnd's attempt at timing msft, and don't think I could do it any better, but it just doesn't work. Yeah, I tried to time it last year, and missed a 15 point run. Of course, I did well where I did have the money. It is tempting to pull out now and put more in Dell. I think Dell is due for a run. Msft usually limps along after a quarterly report, but it could have a run to 170 or so. It is certainly worth it. I have all of this in my 401K, so no tax consequences if I do move it.
