i have 14 brokerage accounts and all of them let me short whatever i want. i shorted 50 000 gem at .80 today and covered at .59. i am bidding .46 for 25 000 in case it bounces off there. as far as selling at one and delivering it all depends on your broker and how well he knows you. what you have going against you is that they are both banks, and they are pretty anal.
