Matthew:

What nakes you think that next qtr rev will be 160-180 mil. That is
90-100% qtr to qtr sequential growth which is unbelievably fantastic.
Further if ASND makes 180 million, EPS should be higher: 0.33-0.35.
I do not beleive that can happen. Do you have any solid information
to back it up.

Analysts are estimating that ASND will make about 450 million in rev
this year. If you use a 20% sequential rev growth (conservative
estimate for ASND), according to your model, the following should
happen:

1Q: 91 million actual
2Q: 160 million (Matthew est.) - 78% growth
3Q: 192 million - 20% growth
4Q: 230.4 million - 20% growth

FY 96 REV = 91+160+192+230 = $673 million. Do you think that the entire
analyst community missed this number by $200 million.

The current FY96 EPS estimate is $0.79. Based on the above rev model
it should be = $1.19 (which is the current FY97 consensus estimate).
This means that the entire analyst community underestimated earnings
by 50%, UNBELEIVABLE. Until last year, analysts used to underestimate
ASND's earnings by a wide margin. Now they have gotten better.

Matthew, although I would like for you to be right, I cannot agree
that such a stupendous growth is possible in 2Q. However, I will be
happy if that happens. Let me any other info you get.

COWEN ANALYST, CHRIS STIX INITIATED COVERAGE OF ASND TODAY WITH A
BUY RATING. GOOD NEWS IN A SLIGHTLY MORE STABLE DAY. THERE WAS A
250,000 SHARE TRADE TODAY EARLY IN THE MORNING. I AM GUESSING IT IS
A BUY BECAUSE THE STOCK DID NOT BREAK SUPPORT.
