Wow, is it really 3:30 AM?

Well, after taking a break from about 6 to 9:30, I got back up here and finished off applying the glaze and yes,......

The kiln is loaded.
I put the burners on low about 10 minutes ago with the flu and door still open. just want to dry the glaze slow cuz if it heats too fast, it will flake off the pieces./ Guess I'll hang here for another hour or so, putting the extra glazes away, and revert the space back into clay work area so I can get some stuff done while firing the kiln.

I figure I will leave it on low with the door closed until tomorrow about10/11ish. At which point I'll begin the slow climbin oxidation until I reach a dull orange glow. Than i put it into a reduction untl it begins to turn red. after that I will give it a moderate oxidation while I take it up(no more than 450F/hour) to maybe 2000 or a dull red color. When cone 8 goes flat, I'll begin another body reduction for the final stage up to temperature.
I plan to doak it in the reduction(heavily from cone 9 bend till c0ne 10 begins to bent. Than I'll being it back to a moderate reduction for about the last hour till cone 10 goes flat!

Well, that,s the game plan. Ain't waiting until next week. Loaded and feels like the right time to do it.

Sleep? what is that<G>
