I did try the Audi I thought the acceleration was a bit mushy. It was a '96 A4 I tried (I think). Maybe it was the Quattro. Puggy little thing. I couldn't enjoy it. I haven't looked back since. Perhaps the '99-2000+ models are better.

I like Beamers. At least I used to. The higher end cars are very tight, and I liked it. But at some point it started to seem EVERY dang body owned one.

Very VERY true on the Mercedes. Those cars have nothing for me at all.
