Just got a reply from Briefing: they say they're just reporting news (which they are) and that they have no idea of the merits of the case, if any. They add that it might go on for years, which makes me think they didn't check out the patents in question, as I suggested they do.
Idiot that I am, I emailed again, repeating that--considering they not only offer, but also interpret the news--they should take a close look at GPC and its activities.
And speaking of lawsuits, a news item:
"A woman who accused her psychiatrist of malpractice for diagnosing her with 120 separate personalities settled her lawsuit in Appleton, Wisconsin, for $2.4 million."
Nice work if you can get it. But I guess it won't work out to all that much divided by 120. And I hate to think about the tax problems!
