And if you consider the business as the most important figure (and not the short-term stock price), I guess they DID have to announce the merger. You can't just sign a merger and hide it for publicity (at least that's what I guess). So, sit back, relax and wait for the fruits of the deal that will come in my opinion... I would be more nervous holding one of the Dow Stocks nowadays... sunny
