Was it worth it?

We can't know what would have happened if the mini had not been released, but I doubt they would have sold 23 million full-sized iPads in the quarter. Personally, I think the mini is the better product, so as a shareholder, I'm glad it is out there. Like the nano eventually consigned the larger HD iPods to niche status, I suspect they same will happen to the large iPad.
