I was not aware that there is a new store in Palo Alto. I presume that this too is on University Avenue. Planning to go there soon "on my pilgrimage" Last month I visited the SFO store on Market Street. That looked pretty beat up and I agree with you observation the ratio of employees/visitors. And what I notice in the SFO store was that the employees were just standing around in clusters and chit chatting.
