Saw Elliot Yamin at the Showbox in Seattle last night. Elliot is a great performer and very entertaining. I was struck by the power of his voice and his energy. He was accompanied by a full band that was very professional. He looked good and sounded even better. Started out by saying a few words and honoring our soldiers in Iraq, which I really appreciated. Then he got on with the show singing at least 10 songs. I went down on the dance floor where a lot of people were gathered and heard people saying "what a doll" "isn't he gorgeous" "I love you Elliot" "Will you marry me Elliot" and "doesn't he look good" type comments. His music was made you tap your toes and bounce. I don't think he is going to have any trouble climbing up the star ladder. His myspace blog shows that he has a very busy schedule this summer.
