If you look at their roadmap, you'll see that they have 4 different .13u processes, which should tell you that TSMC knows you can't have your cake and eat it, too. tsmc.com.tw Different manufacturing processes for different products. That's the way these foundries have to operate. These processes are designed to be cheap, not robust. Maybe nVidia is learning that TSMC's .13u process is more of the former and less of the latter now, as well. wbmw
