To all: re possible IOMG and IBM agreement. Has any one wondered why both companies specifically stated "no comments" about the possible agreement that is now part of the rumor mill?

Here is my thought du jour: I suggest discussions and even negotiations are currently ongoing between IOMG and IBM, such that Zip drives will be included in one of IBM's comp. line. As any negotiator knows, the fundamental negotiations protocol is to not comment publicly about what is being discussed or negotiated until the deal is done. If talks between IOMG and IBM were not ongoing as the rumor indicates, then both companies would likely have stated a clear "no"to the question of whether or not they were talking. If they are in fact discussing and negotiating and the deal is not finalized, then the only possible public statement both companies can make is "no comment" and, that my friends, is my thought du jour.

If I am right, and I'd like to believe I am, then IOMG (and IMPX) will continue the skyward climb.

Comments?

Regards,

Erik.
