many more married women in the job force earning those declining wages give us the illusion of prosperity. Most of us lived though this change in women's status in the 60's. It is more than economic necessity. It is a desire on the part of women to have their own income and a better place in the world. This change in woman's status is the real sticking point that the Muslim world can't handle.
