Brian, thanks for your good post.

The article estimates that the K6 box will sell for about $2500.00. I have hardly ever seen AMD or Cyrix systems sell for that price. They have often sold for $1500.00 or less, but in the $2500 range (mid to high end), its been all Intel.

I have to believe that most buyers in that price range will continue to go with Intel unless we see an AMD marketing blitz on the scale of Nike or Coke. Highly unlikely.
