More on the IBM x360. I'm not sure how much more detail adds to what has already been posted here.

As Paul found in another article, these are not just another X86 four way server type that's been available for a few years, but a Summit based machine with high RAS features, and memory and I/O upper limits to allow an upgrade path to McKinley. Good, solid commitment by IBM to Intel based servers. Of course, IBM can afford to cover all bases with these, and big AIX servers, and Mainframes that run Linux as well as legacy mainframe SW.
