That's funny. I looked at my left hand, and my ring finger was a little longer than my pointer. Then I looked at my right hand, and my ring finger was about half an inch longer! What the hell happened to my pointer finger, I wondered. Then I remembered - I broke my hand play-boxing with a friend about ten years ago, and shortened the bones behind the my first knuckle, so that's why my pointer is so short. Too much testosterone, I guess.

Believe it or not, I broke my hand hitting my friend in the stomach. Talk about abs of steel. He was a real tough guy, mentally and physically. But he died of cancer at the age of 35. He used to say "life's a joke, but nobody's laughing".
