The two issues are not comparable.

You are comparing a poster who's comments are critical of Obama with a major news/political event.

An accurate comparison would be to ask why conservative posters here who quickly condemned the corruption of Blagojevich didn't condemn the corruption of Stevens? Well what Stevens did wasn't as grand or as staggering and pervasive but many of the Conservatives here did say, as soon as allegations were made, that Stevens should be punished if found guilty.

I think if I or longnshort or Jlallen etc says something unjust and hateful we should be criticised by other conservatives more quickly than we would be willing to criticise people who don't stand as representatives of our conservative principles and values. btw, I have been involved with harsh critical discussions with most of the resident conservatives and have been banned from the rightwing extremist threads because I walk that talk. So what?
