Re: poll & "$5 a gallon of gasoline" Unfortunately I am afraid that the American people are not as concerned about doing what is right as they are concerned about the price of gasoline. I can respect opinions of both sides of the question of American involvement in Iraq. That respect is deserved when one forms his opinion based on noble motives. Too bad that far too many Americans base their opinion on the basis of the price of gasoline or other economic factors. We are too easily bribed as a nation. If our nation were attacked as Dec. 7, 1941, I doubt that we would be tough enough to risk our lives, our lifestyles and make the sacrifices that our parents did to do what is right.
