It's all a matter of degree.

Florida has legislated that the most harmful insecticides cannot be used on lawns. The lawns in my development are therefore full of a particular weed that is prolific. Only one type of insecticide kills it.

But look at your golf courses. They are allowed to use anything that will make the fairways and greens great for golfers.

My sister gets terrible migraines from insecticides. We cannot play golf as a result.

No matter what it is, garbage, discarded batteries, tv sets that are shipped to poorer countries and dumped... we are in fact doing the environment and ourselves no good.

Have you checked out those sludge ponds produced from coal
tar... They lie in wait for birds to land and then the birds die.

Processed foods you have a point. Corn syrup and artificial ingredients like sodium benzoate can be harmful. So can MSG.

AND the list goes one. Choose your poison.
