Nasdaq volume is usually around 1.8 billion shares. Today was 1.3 (went up a lot in the last little bit of time). There have been a couple of days in the last few weeks that were low volume days for the year.

The QQQs sell on the AMEX. It would be nice to see a rally, the p/c is really high and the VIX and VIXN are trending up though not where they were in March/April.

Intersting point though. I wonder what happens when the QQQs trade in high volume while the underlying stocks don't.

The QQQs do look they're in a pretty severe downtrend though:
