I'm not applying it to all, that's why i used the word "some." As you know there are Christian denominations who favor and perform gay marriages. Same with Jews. (IMO it won't be long until this is a non issue and gay marriage will be as acceptable and normal as interracial marriage.)

But since Brumar is using religion in his/her argument, i'm showing the falsity of such an argument with an example from the past.

If you define it to include gays but not chimpanzees you have denied the zoophiliacs from this basic civil right you are claiming.

And you're questioning my logic? You think a basic right of man applies to a chimp? A chimp is a man? Will you also argue that if "all men are created equal with certain unalienable rights" applies to gays, it may as well apply to chimps as well?
