ctc, economies are so complex that causal relationships are hard, if not impossible, to prove. my guess is that the japanese are saving more than they did when the nikkei was 39k. but, who knows.

my guess is that americans will curb their spending when this insanity of a guaranteed stock market ends and valuations tend toward their historical mean.

there is a lot to be concerned about. the correction required to value the underlying businesses in a financially sound way would shock investors - should they care about such things.

well, there's nothing we can do but watch, develop our skill set (the end of this market is tough times for joe six pack, too) and try to position ourselves for employment furing less than good times.
