Just what I've been saying for years. Apple could buy Verizon right now for cash. 128B.

But Dish is only 23B.

Is there any reason Apple could not make phones that can't connect to Dish satellites? My guess it could be done.


and they would be buying companies that any number of their customers hate, that would destroy their corporate culture, and would require huge amounts of management time that could be spent making better products.

Speaking for myself, there is no way that I would own Apple if they decided to do a large scale acquisition. My guess is that Wall Street would react badly as well.
